Attorney Jason Russo earned his bachelor’s degree from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus in 1994 and obtained his Juris Doctorate with Honors from New York Law School in 1998. He started his legal career as a prosecutor with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. As a former prosecutor, he has a firsthand understanding of how the other side thinks – a quality that most defense attorneys lack. During his time as a prosecutor, he never lost a trial.
After litigating cases for the Office of the District Attorney, Mr. Russo started his own criminal defense firm. For more than 20 years, he has litigated over 100 federal and state criminal cases.
Mr. Russo has dedicated his life to protecting the rights and freedom of people facing serious criminal matters in New York. He understands what it takes to help his clients obtain the best possible outcome in their cases.
